Title of Song: Carmen Composer: Chin Hon Lyricist: Chin Hon Vocals: Jerron Lee Date Written: 21st Century

This is a lovely song written by a friend, Chin Hon. Sorry guys for the croaky voice & Singlish slang (this music piece was played on a Yamaha P85 Digital Piano).

Enjoy Chin Hon’s “Carmen”.

Carmen

When I see the stars up in heaven,

Carmen, I think of you.

Could it be, right at this moment,

You are thinking of me too.

Remember the trip to Monterey,

When we talked the whole night through.

I remember that night when,

I found a friend in you.

Now I’m home, miles away from you,

I sing this song for you.

Wondering how are you doing,

I say a prayer for you.

You’ll be fine, for there’s no other,

Who could be just as strong as you.

From a friend to dear Carmen,

God bless, and love to you.

One Response to “Carmen (Written by Chin Hon)”

  1. Jeremy Says:

Good job. I like the cover. It adds a different “flavour” to the song, which was originally strummed on guitar. Nicely done.

My favourite lines are “Remember the trip to Monterey, when we talked the whole night through…”

    So romantic!
